The 491 hectare (over 1200 acre) master plan for the Bloemendalerpolder is a mix of new housing and landscape development. The master plan calls for 2750 new homes to be developed.  A small, dense commercial area around the new canals will be the heart of the project.  Linear development along the waterway is connected to the landscape by low density areas that form the transition between the town and the surrounding forests, waterways and green fields.

Station Stichtse Lustwarande

Station Stichtse Lustwarande is an urban design proposal for the redevelopment of a major railway station. The station is situated between two small towns and lacks density and exposure. Expansion of the railway station and construction of a new bus terminal encourage the use of public transportation in the area. While a mixed-use development plan encourages density around the station, and the use of bicycles.
