Vleuterweide

Vleuterweide is a neighborhood with 6000 dwellings, and the public space is the unifying element. The design theme is ‘living in the landscape’, and the existing natural elements result in a robust framework. Sometimes water or grasses are leading, sometimes trees or heights in the landscape. Streets and pedestrian paths have different materials to improve safety and cohesian of the neighborhood. Green elements as trees deternine the transition zones between public and private space.​
